The full name of Ricky Ponting is Ricky Thomas Ponting. He has been nicknamed Punter. Ponting was born on 19th December in the year 1974. He has been the captain of the Australian team since 2002. Ponting was the captain of the ODI team from 2002 to 2011 and Test Team from 20004 to 2011. Ponting is among one of the greatest cricket players of the world.
